Back to our Topic, Below are the reasons to choose OnePlus 5T to iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Google Pixel 2:

The Price:

Reason number one is it's half the price of the iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Google Pixel 2 that are up to £700 to £1000. Getting a high-end phone like OnePlus 5T for just £449 for 64GB model and 128GB model for £499 is stealing as we can not call that one purchasing.

Supper Fast Charging (all day battery charges in half an hour:

Imagine 24 hours talk time charges in half an hour which the it's 82hrs talk time will charge in less than 1hr40minutes - wow isn't it impressive. OnePlus 5T is also living in the Shadow of wireless charging with it's super fast charging ability just like iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Google pixel 2. All you need to do is to plug it into the charger straight from the box and watch it power up. Lasting battery are one of the breakthrough for smartphone manufacturers nowadays, fast and wireless charging also in it's place and from what I've observed, no phone does it better than OnePlus 5T with 3300mAh.

The Appearance (the design):

Build with a premium, aluminum body design, Metal and glass with high-end build quality which OnePlus 5T uses both. iPhone X users must have been living in constantly phobiaous life of the £500 back panel fix (almost the price of the OnePlus 5T) just because they are using wireless charging phone but as OnePlus 5T uses only fast charging which means no back panel problem. Despite the absent of wireless charging, OnePlus 5T beats iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Google pixel 2 in fast charging. It also has the thin side bezels and symmetrical top and bottom bezels for satisfying look.

OnePlus Support:

OnePlus is a company built on community feedback. So it genuinely listens to what it's owners/fans/users want to see next, that is why OxygenOs is continuously updated to fit demand. Note OxygenOs is a fancy name given to OnePlus skinned Android 7.1. As I known there aren't too many companies out there that gives it's users more attention than OnePlus.

 In Conclusion

Even if iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy S8 are meant for luxurious people because of it's high premium material built with, comparing them to OnePlus 5T with the same ability - even not than will seem insultive as OnePlus 5T beats iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Google pixel 2 in many way.
